Saturday, December 3, 2022 – Frostiana (The Poems of Robert Frost)

On December 3rd, 2022, Polymnia presented Frostiana, the masterpiece choral cycle by Randall Thompson set to poems by Robert Frost. Other composers on the program include Francis Poulenc, Dan Forrest, Adolphus Hailstork, and Ola Gjeilo along with the return of their annual carol sing and holiday favorites.

It was a wonderful, joyous, return for this annual tradition! We wish to thank all of our fans and Patrons for their support. It was a great performance!

Sunday, March 5, 2023 – Matthew Shepard Concert

The second concert will happen on March 5th. This ground-breaking oratorio, Considering Matthew Shepard has been waiting three years since being cancelled early in the pandemic. It is full of deeply meaningful, moving music and will be a revelation to all who attend. You can learn more about this powerful oratorio here.

Saturday, June 3, 2023 – Elton John Concert

Finishing this season on June 3rd will be a celebration of the music of Elton John in Polymnia’s signature pop’s concert format. Elton John is one of the most iconic figures in rock and roll history. He announced that 2023 will be his final concert tour. This concert promises to be a rousing tribute to this talented performer and artist!

Want to join in the fun?? – New Singers are welcome!

Rehearsals occur on Tuesday, September 6th at Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin St, Melrose, MA 02176, at 7:00pm. Just come in and introduce yourself to our Music Librarian, Accompanist, or our Music Director. We’ll do the rest!
